ACCOUNTANT As a member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for a number of functions which may include assisting in the preparation of monthly cost reporting; preparation of month-end and year-end journal entries; preparation of year-end working papers; assisting operational divisions with budgeting, forecasting and five year planning; financial analysis and special projects.
The successful candidate will possess or is currently in the final stages of CGA, CMA or CA program. The candidates will have a minimum of three to five years experience in the manufacturing industry and a highly computerized accounting environment. Al-Pac is a world leader in the production of high-quality kraft pulp. These positions will be at the millsite, which is a comfortable 2-hour drive North of Edmonton, Alberta.
